I've really enjoyed the experience of purchasing the share in "Catania". As you know I had no boat experience so it was a big jump for me - all the way to 50+ ft! ‘BELLINI’ SEA TRIALS AND FIRST OWNER TRAINING COMPLETED
Following delivery from the factory and sea trials, “Bellini” has just completed her first new owner 3 day training and the comments are all good. Third syndication boat owner Roger Drake’s first comment when he returned to the dock was “it has exceeded our expectations”. Roger, with son John-Paul and friends Bob and David, boarded “Bellini” on Wednesday morning for a briefing with Riviera Syndication owner John Russell and skipper Jimmy Thorn. Following familiarization and initial berthing practice, “Bellini” set off for Brisbane arriving at Dockside Marina approx 4 hours later. A short stroll to the Story Bridge Hotel and a good night’s sleep then saw “Bellini” set off for Cape Moreton in a strong south westerly. Once around the cape it was a calm and picturesque cruise just outside the breakers to the southern tip of Moreton Island. While at anchor the crew were delighted to see the first whale of the season come alongside the boat for photos and the day concluded with a cruise along the breakers to the Southport seaway. After a calm overnight at Marine Stadium the “Bellini” crew set off for Sanctuary Cove and some more berthing training. Roger has been a loyal owner with us since 2004 and it was very pleasing to hear his comment that “Bellini” has exceeded our expectations. This has always been our aim and the magnificent new Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht has lived up to its reputation.
Positano is our second boat that we have had the opportunity to be joint owners through Riviera Syndication boatshare, and I would have to say during this time the system has exceeded my expectations. There have been no unforeseen costs and from day one, the system in co-ordinating the use of the boat has ran extremely smoothly.
"I cannot imagine having to deal with a boat and the costs involved as a single owner. We have all heard stories that to own a boat is like having a hole in the ground that you throw money into. Under Riviera Syndication the costs are evenly distributed to each owner making ownership of a vessel of this size something that is very affordable, especially considering the amount a single owner would use their boat".

Guyon Holland and his business partner are owners in Palermo a Riviera 5000 Sport Yacht at Rushcutter's Bay in Sydney.
My business partner and I had been talking about getting a boat for a number of years but was always met with the comments of “you do know they are a lot of work to look after” or “you know the best boat is somebody else’s” or “do you have a mooring” which always stopped us from taking that final step of investing into a boat. It was a chance meeting with Sharon Russell at the Sydney Boat Show in 2009 that allowed us to find that you can enjoy a boat without all the hassles and costs associated with outright ownership. Furthermore, with the technology that was now available in the larger boats, maneuvering these 50 plus footers was so simple. So simple in fact that I mastered the Riviera 5000 before I had even mastered the tender that belonged to it. This is particularly significant as I had no real prior experience skippering any type of boat.
In plain English, becoming a shareholder in a Riviera Syndication boat has allowed us to enjoy all the benefits of owning a boat without any of the hassle. Friends are always curious as to how it works and I use the analogy of “it’s like a cross between a hire car and a hotel room”. You arrive and everything is ready to go. Just bring your food, clothes, drinks, friends and or family and enjoy. When you come back, tidy up, take your personal belongings with you including any rubbish from your time out and lock up. It’s that simple. If you have ever considered investing into a boat, a Riviera Syndication boat is the best by far. Not only is the hassle taken out but as you are one of a number of shareholders you get into a boat far bigger than you may otherwise have done if purchasing it by yourself.

Jeff & Liz Gittus are owners in "Amalfi" their 45 Flybridge located at Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays, now waiting for their new 5800 Sport Yacht "Marbella" to arrive in October 2011. Jeff & Liz and very excited about the lauch party at Qualia on Hamilton Island as a special treat as part of the purchase price in the Hamilton Island boat and a wonderful chance to meet and socialise with their fellow owners.
We have purchased one and a half shares in our next boat "Marbella" due to arrive in October 2011, we had such a wonderful time with our last boat.
We are in our third year of being involved with Riviera Syndication and on board the beautiful Amalfi a 45 flybridge at Hamilton Island.
Amalfi remains an exceptional boat and is maintained to the highest standard.
We have experienced the most amazing and relaxing holidays with our friends and family on board Amalfi cruising around the magnificent Whitsunday islands. We have had whales swimming around the boat, snorkelled among the most colourful coral and fish, ending each day with a glass of wine watching the sunset.
Every time we jump on board Amalfi, the boat is expertly presented and ready for us to take off for the week.

Stepping on the boat and knowing that everything has been checked and thoroughly cleaned, has provided us with “hassle free” boating on the Gold Coast.

What an experience! Owning a share in a luxury Riviera Cruiser at a fraction of the price, yet enjoying all the benefits.....
To us that sums it up. We get 100% enjoyment and only outlay the funds for what we use. This must be the future of boating!
We have been your clients for in excess of 4 years which I believe makes us a good authority to provide you with an informed testimonial.
Never in our history of boating have we experienced the quality of Riviera, and this does directly reflect on the level of "rest and relaxation" experienced. I continually comment that our Riv is like a floating 5 star hotel room.
Our recent 2 days spent onboard "Alicante" was the most enjoyable two days spent on a boat that we can remember - and that's taking into account many boating trips. I'm sure all other boaties would agree that returning from a boat trip and handing the keys to the cleaners is a good feeling!!

Have you ever owned a boat? At the end of that perfect day on the water you return to your berth happy and exhausted.....and then the cleaning begins. Inside, outside, above and below deck, the filling of water and fuel tanks, removing all that salt water and sand, the list goes on! It used to take us 3 hours each trip to disembark our 28'Bayliner and it was never really clean. Then there were the weekends just dedicated to cutting and polishing, cleaning upholstery and clears etc etc. And don't forget the costs, over $400 a month just for berthing fees not to mention insurance, anti-fouling, registration and the endless maintenance.
These days when we go boating we board our pristine Riviera, stow the esky, fire up the engines and off we go. When we return we simply reverse this very simple process and are on the road in 30 minutes. There is never a doubt that everything will work perfectly, our boat will be pristinely clean and the costs mentioned above are covered.
Riviera Syndication is a genuine luxury 5 star boating experience. Every voyage is a relaxing and pleasurable event. John, Sharon and the entire Riviera Syndication crew are delightful and highly professional and clearly understand the pleasures as well as the challenges of recreational boating. Their experience ensures that our pleasures are enhanced and the challenges minimised.
We are about to set out on our second Riviera Syndication boat (4700 Sport Yacht) such has been our experience and for us 33 days of boating each year is the perfect amount. Why on earth would you want to own a boat any other way?
