Riviera Syndication is proud to launch ‘Syndication by Design’, a new concept of boat ownership where prospective owners choose the model, location and number of shareholders.
 
Riviera Syndication owners John and Sharon Russell developed Riviera Syndication in 1999 and have continued to refine and develop this model over the past 12 years by listening to their clients.
 
“We have discovered a section of the market who likes the concept of sharing the expenses and the experience of boating with like-minded people, however they require more time onboard and therefore less owners in a syndicate,” John said.
 
“They also want the flexibility to do trips away while having an experienced team only a phone call away for advice, assistance and to take care of maintenance and cleaning upon their return.
 
“This has lead to the introduction of ‘Syndication by Design’ where we will offer owners the chance to become part of the purchase and syndication process from the beginning.
 
“We start by you choosing the new Riviera model, location and number of owners and Riviera Syndication will take this information to the market and locate suitable partners.”
 
John said owners would meet to ensure compatibility before the selection process of options and customisation begins.
 
“Riviera Syndication’s skipper and long-time Riviera expert Jimmy Thorn will oversee the build process with the owners until completion and then he will undertake sea trials and pre-delivery before hand over, training and delivery to the new owners.
 
He will then be available to the owners as they need him for advise, skippering and all boating matters.

SEPTEMBER 2011 - OUR NEW HAMILTON ISLAND BASED RIVIERA 5800 SPORT YACHT "MARBELLA" NEARS COMPLETION AT RIVIERA

Preparations are well underway for our owners launch party weekend at Hamilton Islands Qualia Resort for our magnificent new Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht "Marbella".

Our second new Riviera 5800 "Bellini" has been launched at Sanctuary Cove Resort Marina and we have reduced the final shares to $219,000 and we have reduced the final share in "Catania" to $119,000. JULY 2011 - SYDNEY LAUNCH PARTY - NEW OWNER TRAINING ON 'BELLINI' AND SYDNEY TO HAMILTON ISLAND ONBOARD 'BELLAGIO'

The Sanctuary Cove Boat Show has been and gone for another year and we all enjoyed the owner functions and get togethers including our new owners from Sydney and Melbourne. We have officially christened "Catania" our new Riviera 5000 Sport Yacht at Rushcutters Bay with the owners and still have a share available. "Bellini" our new Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht for Sanctuary Cove/Sydney and Hamilton Island has been doing new owner training between the Gold Coast and Brisbane to the delight of her new owners. "It has surpassed our expectations" was the comment passed by all owners. Final shares are still available in "Bellini". "Bellagio" our 2010 Sydney based Riviera 5800 has just been delivered to Hamilton Island for her owners and what a fantastic trip. Great weather, an owner onboard and some great memories, all of this before Hamilton Island. Our beloved "Amalfi" which served her owners from Hamilton Island for just over 3 years has recently been sold and we have a deposit on one of our Riviera 4700's on the Gold Coast so all in all a busy but enjoyable time since the boat show.

 Riviera Syndication have just taken delivery of our 2nd new Riviera 5000 Sport Yacht to be launched at Rushcutters Bay in Sydney. Final preparations are underway at the factory before we head to sea to beat Cyclone Yasi to Sydney.

 DECEMBER 2010 - END OF YEAR UPDATE

I think we will all remember these last few years as some of the more challenging that we have all faced in buisness and I am pleased to say, we at Riviera Syndication have adapted our buisness to the current market and are starting to see the positive results. I hope you have faired as well.

2010 saw the launch of our first new Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht for Sydney and what a boat it is. We have 10 very happy new owners cruising the waters of Sydney harbour and planning their first excursion next year to Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays. We ordered our second Riviera 5800 for Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast and this boat arrives in time for the Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in May 2011. Last week, with the support of some very loyal customers, we ordered our third new Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht for delivery to Hamilton Island in September next year. We also take delivery of our second new Riviera 5000 Sport Yacht for Rushcutters Bay in Sydney next month in time for the Sydney summer.

To our current and future owners we owe a huge thank you for your ongoing support and wish you and your families a safe and enjoyable festive season and we look forward to new adventures in 2011.

AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2010

"Our best show ever" is the result of the recent Sydney International Boat Show and a good sign that confidence is returning to the market place. It is a very good sign when people are starting to buy boats again and this was the case in Sydney. We have sold 9 of the 10 shares in "Bellagio" our magnificent new Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht. We sold enough shares in a second Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht to order another boat for Sydney in 2011.
The Riviera 5000 Sport Yacht also proved as popular as last year and we have ordered a second 5000 for Rushcutters Bay. We have limited shares remaining in this boat if you would like to join us. 
We have also ordered a second Riviera 5800 Sport Yacht to be based at Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast. This boat will go cruising annually to Hamilton Island and Sydney and we have shares remaining in this Syndicate due for launch in April 2011.
 A third 5800 syndicate is well under way at Hamilton Island in 2011. We are only 2 shares away from placing our order for this boat and we have sold the first 2 shares in a Riviera 5800 syndicate for Fremantle in Perth.
